Hanging out at the Wedge in Newport Beach as a grom, Grant Noble built his confidence in waves of consequence. His style truly showed through when he made the transition to alternative surfboards.

When he’s not shaping or surfing, Grant spends his time on two-wheels, camping, fishing, anything that gets him outside. He shaped his first surfboard at the age of 15 in his garage with a few friends. Finding a passion for shaping in that garage, he continued to work on his boards and now shapes independently in Newport Beach.

“As far as creativity goes I would say my surfing fuels my shaping, and my shaping fuels my surfing. It goes so hand in hand. The more creative I get in the shaping room, the more I want to draw different lines on the water.” – Grant

Grant now finds himself in a lucky place where he gets to surf around the world with friends riding boards he’s made himself, sharing laughs and beers along the way.
