Jo Anna Edmison is a photographer, filmmaker, designer, and band manager. Jo captures her “living in the moment” imagery on 35mm film and films using analog techniques such as Super 8, 16mm, and even stop motion. Finding inspiration in shooting artists and blending mediums to bring people’s essence to the screen in an untraditional way.
“The people I surround myself with are a huge source of my creativity. I am constantly inspired by the people I know and love and the new people I meet. Being outside and enjoying the California lifestyle is also a huge source of my artistic inspiration.” – Jo
In addition to her film and photography, Jo spends her time going to live music, the funk and soul band The Charities.
